Global Gardens

Global Gardens are developing an organic community kitchen garden. We have an orchard, herb garden, soft fruit patch, a veggie plot and a chill out velodome. We are also soon to erect a polytunnel and greenhouse. Garden sessions are open to all and there are always a range of tasks to suit your energy. Plus every last Tuesday of the month we have a shared supper at the Embassy Cafe, Cathays Community Centre.

Space4U supports asylum seekers and refugees at all stages of the asylum process, enabling them to integrate with the local community as easily and as soon as possible.

Welsh Refugee Council

The Welsh Refugee Council provides a twice weekly, family group at Trinity through a project funded by BBC Children in Need. The project has been running since 2009 and currently works with children and young people living within the refugee and asylum system.

Student Action for Refugees

The main activity Cardiff STAR run is the weekly drop in, held at the Trinity Centre on Piercefield Place, every Wednesday from 5:30pm – 7:30pm (except in Summer holidays when the sessions stop till September). Here we run conversational English classes for asylum seekers and refugees, as well as hanging out all together in a relaxed environment, enjoying a cup of tea and the occasional game of pool.

Aurora Trinity Collective

Aurora Trinity Collective is a group of artists who are women, a network and space that is safe and inclusive for these artists and for their children, and a project that nurtures friendships and bonds. Our definition of women is including trans-women, intersex people and non-binary people who relate to the experience of being a woman in some way.
